A praline sauce so good and easy, you'll be tempted to top all of your desserts with it. Drizzle the southern classic topping over Bread Pudding with a dollop of whipped cream.

How to Make It

Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium-low; whisk in flour, and cook, whisking constantly, until foamy and golden brown, 3 to 4 minutes. Whisk in cream and brown sugar; cook, whisking constantly, until thickened, about 3 minutes. Whisk in vanilla, nutmeg, and salt; cook, whisking constantly, until bubbly, 2 to 3 minutes.

I made this INCREDIBLE and sooo delicious bread pudding for a dinner party and heard nothing but OMG and have some I can take home? from my guests. I did make one alteration however. I had a quantity of Golden Almond bars and fed 10 of them into my food processor. Instead of 2 cups of pecans, I used 2 cups of the crushed chocolate bars. YUMMY!
