Quite simply, this is a perfect dish. Full of flavor, easy to make and no leftovers! Amazing!

Here are the changes I made: -used a whole 1lb box of pasta -added a few splashes of balsamic as the other review suggested. -used chicken instead of shrimp (put a few dashes of chili powder and ground red pepper on chicken as it cooked to give the chicken a little flavor) -right when chicken was done cooking, i added the kernels from 2 cobs of fresh corn to the pan to roast corn a bit. -added a few sprigs of fresh mint when i was chopping my fresh basil. we loved it! i didn't have time to let it rest -- so we just served it room temp--- but it was great. we had some leftovers that we ate the next day and while it still tasted good, it was a bit dry-- so i would actually suggest not letting it rest for too long.
