Yield
4 sandwiches (serving size: 1 sandwich)

Update sandwich night with a hearty grilled stacker loaded with turkey, ham, veggies, and a Dijon spread.

How to Make It

Step 1

Combine mayonnaise and mustard in a small bowl. Spread about 1 teaspoon mayonnaise mixture over 1 side of each of 4 bread slices. Top each slice with 1 turkey slice, 1 ham slice, 1 cheese slice, and 2 tomato slices. Top with remaining bread slices.

Step 2

Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Coat pan with cooking spray. Add sandwiches to pan; cook 4 minutes or until lightly browned. Turn sandwiches over; cook 2 minutes or until cheese melts.

Chef's Notes

Enjoy with carrot sticks and tomato soup. Heat 1 teaspoon olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Add 2 teaspoons bottled minced garlic to pan, and sauté 1 minute. Add 2 (14.5-ounce) cans undrained diced tomatoes; 1 (14-ounce) can fat-free, less-sodium chicken broth; 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar; and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. Reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.

Add, to this delicious recipe, a slice or two, dill/kosher dill/garlic dill pickle. It adds to the taste as well as the little extra crunch. Now, you wanna get really serious, also add jalapeno, avocado, and ANY substitution slice of cheese! Don't forget the slaw!MMMMMM Gooooood!

The family loved these sandwiches but asked if next time we could substitute smashed avocado in place of the mayo/mustard spread. Oh - and of course, bacon would be great. Yeah...then it would be "Cooking Heavy" right? But I could go for the avocado idea...adding to our regular rotation.

This is a great sandwich for a quick meal. I didn't make the soup, my family is also a big campbells tomato soup fan, so I made that to go along with the sandwich. I can see myself making this as an after school snack for my boys, they loved it.

This sandwich was DELICIOUS. I made it with sourdough bread and it was so quick, so easy, and so yummy! This is definitely a keeper. I made it last night and I already want another one! I feel like this sandwich is good for anytime/all the time!
