Precooked brown rice gets wonderfully crispy in the skillet--no need to microwave it first.

How to Make It

Place oil, pepper, and garlic in a large skillet over high heat; cook 1 minute or until garlic begins to sizzle. Add rice; cook 4 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove pan from heat; stir in salt.

Nice way to flavor up brown rice

I steamed about 1 1/2 cups of brown rice in our rice cooker then continued the recipe as directed.  So simple but very yummy - there won't be any vampires in our house tonight!  Will definitely make again.
