How to Make It

Step 1

Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered, 30 minutes or until slightly thick, stirring occasionally. Serve with turkey, chicken, roast pork, or ham.

Step 2

Note: Refrigerate remaining chutney.

My family loves this recipe!  Plus, if we visit friends and family they always ask me to bring some.  Its easy to make and, it makes the house smell great!

I make this every year for Thanksgiving. I love it! I usually make the whole batch and freeze it in smaller portions so I have chutney for months. I normally get asked for the recipe.

This recipe calls for way too much vinegar. It overpowered everything else. I would avoic using it all together.
