This easy buffalo chicken recipe features chicken breasts marinated in a homemade buffalo sauce and sauteed until done. 

How to Make It

Combine hot sauce, melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, and onion powder in a bowl. Reserve 1/4 cup hot sauce mixture; pour remaining hot sauce mixture in a zip-top plastic bag. Add chicken breast halves to bag; seal. Marinate at room temperature 20 minutes. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Coat pan with cooking spray. Remove chicken from bag; discard marinade in bag. Sprinkle chicken with salt. Add chicken to pan; sauté 6 minutes on each side or until done. Brush reserved marinade over chicken. Serve with light ranch dressing, if desired.

this will definitely be my go-to recipe whenever i have a buffalo-wing craving. i used boneless/skinless chicken thighs, which i pounded a bit between plastic wrap to even out the thickness before marinating. i subbed soy sauce for the worcestershire and garlic powder for the onion (i also didn't salt the chicken before sautéing as i think everything, including the blue cheese dressing, would make it salty enough). i ate it with carrot and celery sticks on the side but it was too meaty and acidic from the hot sauce for me to eat without a carb—wrapping it in a small whole wheat flour tortilla balanced it out. i may cube the leftovers and make mini buffalo chicken thin-crust pizzas with my tortillas.

solid recipe. great taste after marinating. next time, after marinating, i plan on flouring the chicken and then frying in the pan. great flavor, great healthy buffalo chicken wings

I used about a 1/4 cup of cholula and a 1/2 cup of tabasco because that is what I had on hand. I microwaved it a bit because after I added the butter to the hot sauce mixture it solidified, so I needed to melt it again. I also used chicken cutlets and not full breasts. It was very good, very spicy! I served it with rice and steamed carrots. Will definitely make this recipe again.

This recipe was delicious and very easy to make. I served the chicken on a bed of mixed greens with tomato, celery, toasted almonds, and blue cheese. My husband and our friends loved it! This will definitely make it in our rotation.

This was so yummy, but i didnt have that brand of hot sauce so i used 1/2c of Franks hot sauce plus a 1/4c of Franks extra hot and it came out perfect! I sliced the chicken and put it over a salad with ranch dressing, we loved it!

I served this chicken, sliced on top of a salad of romaine carrots,radishes, celery and tomatoes and drizzled light blue cheese dressing over it. My husband (who loves chicken wings) raved about it.
