Well, this is sure to be a spicy season.

Today in great news we didn’t know we needed: Emma Bunton, aka Baby Spice, is set to co-host the holiday edition of The Great American Baking Show.

The American version of The Great British Bake Off will follow competitors as they complete a series of holiday-themed baking challenges. Tensions run high, as only one contestant will be crowned America's Best Amateur Baker.

Baby Spice is my favorite member of the girl group (though Sporty does give her a run for her money), so I’ll definitely tune in this year to see her join co-host Anthony "Spice" Adams.

Yes, he actually goes by “Spice.” No word yet on how many times this “coincidence” will be mentioned this season, but I’m willing to bet it’s a lot.

The judges' panel will include The Great British Bake Off star Paul Hollywood and pastry chef Sherry Yard.

Bunton is no stranger to competition TV—in 2017, she appeared in Boy Band alongside Nick Carter, Rita Ora, and Timbaland.

Hopefully this competition lacks the tumult of last season: ABC pulled the show early after judge Johnny Iuzzini was accused of sexual harassment by eight women. The network opted to announce the winner at the time when the finale would have aired.

The Great American Baking Show: Holiday Edition will premiere on December 6 at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
