You Can Eat Lunch at the Gilmore Girls House—Here's How
Anyone up for a road trip to Stars Holl—I mean, Burbank?
Hang on to your coffee mugs, Gilmore Girls fans, because you have a chance to eat lunch at Lorelai’s house this holiday season.
No, this isn’t a caffeine-induced fever dream. Warner Bros. is actually letting fans inside their favorite Stars Hollow home. But that’s not all! You can also see (and take pictures in) the iconic gazebo in the town square.
Are you still breathing? Good. Here’s how you can make your 2002 fantasy a 2018 reality:
- Go to Burbank, California between December 22 and January 6.
- Pay for the Warner Bros. Studio Tour.
- Go on said tour—of course, the Gilmore Girls stop is the last in the lineup of famous movie and TV sets.
That’s it! You can now dine like Lorelai and Rory. Well, kind of.

The menu is decidedly un-Gilmore-like. It includes holiday fare such as oven roasted turkey breast with cranberry-shallot sauce, lemon garlic roasted chicken, veggie burgers, fries, homestyle macaroni salad, garlic buttered corn, and salads.
Yeah, those foods are in keeping with the festive theme of the tour, but pizza and Pop-Tarts would’ve been more fitting. I mean, cranberry-shallot sauce? Salads?!
Who planned this menu, Richard and Emily? Oy, with the poodles already.
Still, doing anything in Lorelai and Rory’s house sounds like a pretty magical experience.

The tour itself costs $65 and lasts roughly 2.5-3 hours. Bring a little spending money, because food is not included in the ticket price.
